You can now buy ebooks, paperbacks, and audiobooks directly from me! These are the exact same book files you’ll find at Amazon or Audible, for a fraction of the price. Easily read eBooks on any eReader, including Kindle, Kobo, and Nook. Listen to audiobooks with the free BookFunnel reading app.
Why buy books direct instead of from Amazon?
If you don’t mind an extra couple of clicks to send the books to your eReader and maybe downloading a free reading app, I’d love for you to try out buying my books from my bookshop instead of buying them from Amazon or other Big Tech stores. Because truthfully, when you purchase them from my bookshop, you’re not padding a billionaire’s bottom line. You’re doing things like helping two teen boys get a Christian education and supporting an independent author so that she can live her dream of being able to write full-time.
If you’ve already tried my bookshop, thank you so much! I know it doesn’t come with free two-day shipping or bonus points you can use to get more eBooks. But I try to pass along my savings to you (Amazon takes 30% – 70% of the book’s profit in addition to charging me fees for them to deliver the ebooks to your kindle) so that you spend a little less and I make a little more.
Sounds great for both of us, right? And if you need help at any point, I answer your questions personally. No more Big Tech robots. =) Thank you for taking the time to read this and for checking out my bookshop. Happy reading!
"Reminiscent of Gone with the Wind, The Whistle Walk paints a vivid picture of America at the start of the War Between the States. The treatment of slaves, the economic conditions of the South, the concerns of the soldiers on both sides were brought to life in this breathtaking novel.”— Christine Sharbrough, The Christian Manifesto
"It is obvious that McGee knows the time period, etiquette standards, building structures, food offerings, and much more. The Civil War atmosphere is very much present and I was reminded of the novel, Gone with the Wind, in quality of the writing and content."— Susan Faloon, The Christian Manifesto
"It is beautifully told, exquisitely crafted, examining the harsh realities of slavery while allowing one to see the fire of hope and courage. It also shows the kindness and compassion of a young white lady expected to act as others yet yearning to change those expectations. It is realistic and sometimes heartbreaking yet it delivers a message of hope, love and faith against all odds and in all circumstance and it does this to absolute perfection! Bravo Ms. McGee!"— In'Dtale Magazine
